Role Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within stipulated timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include:

Supporting the Regional Sales Managers with the preparation of proposals, attending site, meeting with customer representatives and third party service providers.

Attending site survey meetings with Regional Sales Manager, Installations Manager, customer and other relevant parties – to ensure equipment and layout recommended is appropriate for the site.

Gaining a detailed knowledge of the system to be installed, producing comprehensive layout drawings for verification by the customer and translating project requirements into practical terms that can be implemented on site.

Arranging frequent meetings during project lifecycle to ensure project stays on track.

Cross checking all relevant documentation to ensure alignment of quote, costing sheet, client order and SOP raising discrepancies as necessary.

Creating comprehensive project plans from feasibility, project planning meetings, arranging equipment and resources from project kick off through to handover to service.

Reviewing project periodically to ensure plan remains on track taking action when key milestones are at risk.

Hosting regular meetings/conference calls with key stakeholders to ensure complete understanding of key responsibilities and progress being made, highlighting any potential concerns and putting in place corrective plan of action.

Coordinating resources, including subcontractors, for predelivery configuration, FAT testing, remote support, installation, testing and basic operator and/or front line maintenance training, ensuring all parties are provided with correct information and equipment.

Arranging preconfiguration and FAT testing, attending and signing off on final FAT test.

Attending site on first and last day of installation and periodically throughout dependent on complexity of installation.

Managing project team throughout the installation process, including subcontractors, ensuring clear instruction and being available to provide necessary support throughout.

Issuing relevant operation manuals and other relevant documentation.

Preparing mandatory project documents and site specific customer acceptance documents for issue and sign off by client.

Attending on site handover meeting with customer, Regional Sales Manager, Installation Manager and Service representative.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with previous experience of managing multiple installation projects coupled with the willingness and ability to work and stay away from home on a regular basis.

Required

Experience of working with MS Project, Prince2 or similar methodology.

Proven experience in project/contract delivery and management.

Excellent communication skills together with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Self motivated and able to work autonomously and on own initiative.

Professional in approach to work and appearance.

Happy working in an outside environment.

Full driving license with the ability to travel and stay away overnight frequently.
