Responsibilities

  • Commercial Management of PFI structures.
  • Handling PFI legal matters, including breach notices.
  • Demonstrating exceptional skills in debt recovery and a strong focus on teamwork, crucial for an expansive lifecycle program.
  • Navigating complex contract negotiations and addressing constant challenges with finesse.
  • Creating positive work environments by fostering constructive behaviours.
  • Establishing agile processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Backing up decisions commercially, with meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for value‑driven pricing.
  • Extending responsibilities beyond costing works, encompassing day‑to‑day pricing and contract accuracy.
  • Demonstrating the ability to navigate interpretations and ensure factual correctness in contracts, particularly in FM contract disputes or planned and reactive works.
  • Identify, manage, and reduce unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.
  • Monitor subcontract costs and resource utilization.
  • Ensure comprehension of contractual relationships and obligations.
  • Timely issuance of contractual notices and documentation.

Requirements

  • Previous commercial management experience in PFI FM /construction projects or PFI social housing projects.
  • PFI experience (essential).
