Description: We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and RICS-qualified surveyors to join our growing team in a number of locations in the UK. You will be responsible for carrying out residential valuations and surveys to support mortgage lending decisions, deliver accurate reporting, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and consumers.

Full and part-time (4 days) considered
What You’ll Do
- Conduct RICS Level 1 and 2 (HomeBuyer) surveys as appropriate.
- Complete mortgage valuation reports for a variety of lender clients (Purchase/BTL/MUFB/HMO/Self Build).
- Ensure all reports are produced in line with RICS Red Book standards and lender requirements.
- Use Gateway’s technology platform to record, submit and manage casework efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of service and turnaround times in line with SLAs.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations in a clear, concise manner.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance frameworks, including RICS and lender panel requirements.
- Represent Gateway Surveyors professionally and uphold the values of the business in all interactions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential requirements:
- MRICS, FRICS or AssocRICS qualification
- At least 12 months’ relevant residential valuation experience
- VRS Registration
- Demonstrable experience in residential valuation and/or surveying.
- Sound understanding of property construction, defects, and valuation methodology.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Proficiency in using surveyor reporting software and mobile technology including iPad, Corelogic, Quest.
