JOB: Business Development Manager
Location
Remote with occasional visits to the office in Worthing and travel to meet UK-based customers.

My client designs and manufactures products within the Electrical sector and is based in Worthing.
Ideal Attributes
- Experience in Business Development for B2B sales, ideally selling to OEMs
- Background within the Electrical industry
- Ability to find new customers, win business, manage accounts and maintain relationships
- Passion for sales and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a small team
- Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate others
- Enthusiasm for the position
- Brilliant communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to travel to meet UK-based clients as required
Role Responsibilities
- Work in a team to manage sales and business development activities
- Sell products to other businesses and OEMs
- Identify and target new potential customers, win business
- Liaise with clients and investors to build and maintain relationships, manage accounts
- Maintain existing customer base
- Lead a small team, having one direct report
- Travel across the UK to meet customers and attend trade shows, events and conferences as required
- Research and develop sales opportunities
- Work in alignment with commercial, technical, research and marketing strategies
- Achieve revenue growth targets
- Manage day-to-day operations and team engagement
- Drive progression and growth of the business
