We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic on a full time and permanent basis for a well-known client based in Long Eaton, Derbyshire.
Salary: Circa 34K PA
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm and two Saturdays per month 8:30am until 12 noon
Location: Long Eaton
Holiday entitlement: 30 days annual plus statutory bank holidays
As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic you will be:
Carrying out diagnostics
Servicing & routine maintenance
Carrying out vehicle health checks
Pre-delivery and safety inspections
Ensuring that all repairs are carried out correctly first time and to the manufacturer’s specification
Various duties including cambelt replacement, engine rebuilds, clutch replacements, brake maintenance plus transmission diagnostics and rebuilds
To undertake training, either in-house or externally as and when required & to abide by health and safety expectations.
About you
You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification.
Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing.
