Product Manager / Business Analyst – Trading Technology

Role Overview
You will own the analysis, design and delivery of new features and initiatives across trading technology products. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and engineering teams, you will ensure product enhancements meet business needs, are fully scoped, and delivered effectively through the software development lifecycle.
The role involves interaction with external clients, requiring strong professionalism and understanding of financial instruments and trading environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and translate complex stakeholder needs into clear engineering specifications.
- Drive project delivery, managing timelines, dependencies and project risks.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to product roadmaps in line with business strategy and market evolution.
- Support client onboarding with clear, high‑quality training materials and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure high‑quality product delivery across the SDLC.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Use project planning tools (e.g., MS Project) to manage forecasts and delivery plans.
- Strong background as a Business Analyst or Product Manager within electronic trading or trading technology.
- Experience building requirements for trading systems, ideally in equities.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects on time and to high quality.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum SDLC environments.
- Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation and API specifications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Desired Experience
- Understanding of ultra‑low‑latency distributed computing environments.
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and market data systems.
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/UDP), multicast and Linux‑based infrastructure.
- Experience working in regulated financial environments.
- Ability to create wireframes for UI/UX development.
