Speakers Bureau Account Manager
London (Hybrid – 3-4 days in office)
We’re working with a leading international speaker agency that connects global brands with world-class talent for events, campaigns and content.
Their clients range from major corporates and public sector organisations to event agencies, marketing teams and charities. This is a close-knit team running a high-volume premium service, so everyone plays a key role in driving revenue and maintaining quality.
The Role
This is a commercially driven Account Manager role with a strong inbound focus.
You’ll be managing a steady flow of incoming briefs, taking ownership from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking. Alongside this, you’ll be expected to proactively generate new opportunities and build your own client relationships. It’s fast-paced, target-driven and highly relationship-led.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing inbound enquiries from brands, agencies and corporate clients
- Interpreting event briefs and asking the right questions to understand client objectives
- Recommending relevant speakers and talent based on client needs
- Pitching talent and managing conversations through to negotiation and close
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners
- Managing your pipeline and working towards revenue targets and KPIs
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
What They’re Looking For
- 2–4 years’ experience in speakers bureau account management, or a client-facing commercial role in a similar environment
- Experience across both inbound and outbound sales
- Strong communication skills, confident across phone, email, and face-to-face
- Commercial mindset with the ability to close deals and hit targets
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple briefs in a fast-paced environment
- Naturally curious, with an interest in business, current affairs, and culture
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a high-performance environment
