About you: Strong proficiency in Node.js with a focus on back-end development Deep knowledge of TypeScript and API design best practices Experienced in database architecture, especially PostgreSQL or similar Skilled in building third-party integrations, webhooks, and event-driven systems Comfortable owning live system architecture and designing scalable solutions Enthusiastic about cloud infrastructure, security, and performance with familiarity in AWS or similar platforms Adept at DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code Knowledge of real-time tech such as WebSockets Familiar with automated testing and search technologies like Elasticsearch or Typesense What you’ll do: Architect and enhance backend infrastructure: databases, APIs, and integrations Develop clean and efficient contracts between front-end and back-end teams Build and optimise integrations with external platforms to increase company’s value Maintain and evolve search functionalities and infrastructure Collaborate directly with the founder to shape product development and technical strategy Monitor and improve cloud deployment, security, and system performance Guide and mentor junior developers to grow their skills For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
