Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter (Aerospace/Defence)

£30,000 – £40,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Pension + Early Finish Friday
We are looking for a skilled Panel Wirer/Electrical Fitter with the ability to interpret and understand technical and schematic drawings. The successful candidate will work on large-scale projects across Aerospace, Defence, Healthcare and Energy sectors, using cabinet, rack, and box wiring techniques, hand-held crimping tools and a range of connector types. Detailed technical documentation of work must be maintained accurately and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Wiring large scale projects using cabinet, rack and box wiring techniques.
- Creation, routing and securement of multiple wire/cable harnesses and looms.
- Termination of a variety of connector types.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of works and projects.
Qualifications
- Background working on large scale projects.
- Previous experience in Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Healthcare or Plant sectors or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical/schematic drawings.
- Previous practical experience within a Panel Wirer position or similar.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the confidence to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
