An excellent opportunity has arisen for a controls engineer to join a well-established special purpose machinery manufacturer in a varied role, working on a range of technical projects.
The company has a great reputation and, through growth and the securing of new long‑term projects, requires a controls engineer to join their established controls and automation team.
This role offers the opportunity to have a heavy involvement in hands‑on projects, as well as technical office‑based work and occasional on‑site commissioning.
You will be responsible for software development on a range of PLC systems including Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi and will receive further training and support within a well‑established and experienced automation department.
This role would suit a controls engineer or a strong electrical PLC engineer looking to develop into a specialist software automation specialist, working for a leading special purpose machine manufacturer offering training, development and a chance to boost your earnings through overtime.

- 2+ years’ experience in a controls/automation/software role
