Head of Data Platform Engineering – Manufacturing (FTSE 100 Partner)

London or Bristol (2 x days a week in office)

La Fosse Associates has partnered with a leading FTSE 100 manufacturing business to recruit a Head of Data Platform. This is a unique opportunity to join senior leadership and shape the enterprise data platform that will support all new data and AI initiatives globally.

The Role:

  • Lead the design and delivery of a centralised enterprise data platform across multiple business units.
  • Enable development of data and AI products to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate internationally, influencing senior stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Build and scale the data platform team, contributing to a global Data & AI Centre of Excellence.
  • Operate at both a strategicand hands-on level, shaping architecture while driving adoption.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in designing, building, and delivering enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong track record in data integration, data lakes, and enabling AI/analytics capabilities.
  • Confident operating at senior leadership level in large, complex organisations.
  • Cloud-agnostic with AWS exposure desirable.
  • Able to influence cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide transformation.

Location & Working Model:

  • Offices in London and Bristol (hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days WFH).
  • Occasional international travel (expenses reimbursed).
