Warehouse Operative

• Hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days per week or 15 hours across 2 days per week
• Pay: £13.69‑£14.85 per hour

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

Shift patterns

• Afternoon shift – 12:00‑20:00 (Full Time & Part Time)
• Late shift – 14:00‑22:00 (Full Time & Part Time)
• Night shift – 22:00‑06:00 (Full Time & Part Time)

Pay, working hours & benefits

Hourly rate: £13.69 for day shifts (£10.90 if under 21) and £14.85 for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if under 21).

Guaranteed minimum of 37.5 hours per week for full‑time positions. Overtime available.

As a warehouse operative you will

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops
• Keep accurate records
• Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
• Work within health and safety requirements of the site

Most warehouse operatives start with picking orders; there may also be opportunities to work in goods in and loading operations.

Requirements

• Aged 18 or over (Health and Safety reasons)
• Physically fit – meet productivity targets
• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Experience in a warehouse environment or with manual handling equipment is an advantage
