Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites
• Safely load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
• Transport materials to and from storage areas
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the telehandler
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a telehandler or similar heavy equipment is required
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to operating heavy equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks associated with the role
