Summer Hiring – Business Development Executive (Cold Calling & Lead Generation)

Location: Canary Wharf or from home

Department: Sales / Business Development

Reports to: Sales Director

Role Overview

This Summer internship offers a hands‑on introduction to business development within the UK arm of Yash Technologies – a global IT services provider and consulting company. The Summer Intern will support our growth efforts by conducting outbound outreach to prospective clients, identifying potential leads, and helping the team build a healthy sales pipeline. It’s an ideal opportunity for a confident communicator who wants exposure to the commercial side of the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to targeted organisations to introduce our IT services.
  • Qualify prospects based on defined criteria and capture information accurately
  • Support the sales team by booking introductory meetings and demos.
  • Follow structured call scripts while learning how to adapt messaging based on conversation flow.
  • Provide feedback on call outcomes, messaging effectiveness, and common objections.
  • Research companies and contacts to support targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the business development and sale teams on small projects related to lead generation and market research.
