Our client is a leading provider of facilities maintenance delivering a world class service to a commercial contract with a large energy sector company. The purpose of this role is to build a strong pipeline of FM opportunities, developing, defining and closing new business opportunities across Suffolk and Home Counties. With ambitious plans for 2022, they are looking for a Business Development Executive with a background in the maintenance/facilities management sector and strong personality. The Business Development Executive will lead the delivery and presentation of Facilities Management/Maintenance bids working closely with the Marketing, Bid and Estimation Teams. Building strong relationships with the client, you will be able to extract the necessary information from them to ensure bids go beyond just meet the required criteria of RFI/RFQ’s. Duties will include: Develop new business opportunities.
- Liaise with clients to develop solutions.
- Negotiating an effective balance between cost, value and risk, bringing deals to a close.
- Tracking tender portal’s for potential opportunities that align with the FM business plan.
- Manage sales to operations hand over procedure into contract mobilisation.
- Maintain cost model through any company or industry related changes.
- Tender pricing creation through cost model.
- Subcontractor collation of quotation.
