Reservations Coordinator – Holiday Inn Express London – Heathrow T5
As a Reservations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing daily reservation activities, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of individual bookings, group reservations, and enquiries. You will monitor room availability across channels, maintain accurate booking records, and support occupancy and revenue targets by identifying upselling opportunities and applying rate strategies where appropriate. You will handle guest enquiries and special requests professionally, ensuring a seamless booking experience from enquiry through to confirmation. Working closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and other departments, you will ensure clear communication and coordination to support operational success and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily reservation activities, including individual bookings, group reservations, and enquiries.
- Monitor room availability across distribution channels and maintain accurate booking records.
- Support occupancy and revenue targets by identifying upselling opportunities and applying rate strategies.
- Handle guest enquiries and special requests professionally, ensuring a seamless booking experience.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and other departments to ensure clear communication and operational success.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel reservations, front office, or a similar hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems, particularly Opera.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, as required.
