As a Dispatch Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the treatment operation within the despatch function
Preparing parts for subcontract processing, ensuring accuracy and traceability
Creating and processing subcontract purchase orders using internal systems
Packing components carefully to specification for transport
Coordinating couriers and transport arrangements
Supporting wider despatch activities when required.
As a Dispatch Assistant, your experience will include:
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
Confidence using basic computer systems such as Excel and Outlook
Clear and professional communication skills
A proactive, dependable approach to work
Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or despatch is advantageous but not essential.
