Guest Services/Reception

York – Part time

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver a professional and welcoming 5‑star customer service experience to all building users and visitors.
  • Act as the first point of contact in a receptionist role for facilities support, resolving queries efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully operational, correctly prepared, and maintained to a high standard.
  • Support the Guest services team and conduct regular floor walks (when required) to monitor service delivery and maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
  • Monitor and replenish stationery hubs, vending areas, and consumables within allocated spaces.
  • Provide hospitality support and clear‑down services in line with hygiene and legislative standards.
  • Assist with onboarding and induction support for new building users.
  • Provide access to new employees via a card access system
  • Report faults, maintenance issues, and service concerns promptly to the relevant teams.
  • Promote site rules and support customers in following building procedures and safety requirements.
  • Build positive working relationships with customers, contractors, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Provide flexible support across facilities services, including occasional cleaning duties when required.
