Healthcare Support Workers (Hospital of St Cross, Rugby & UHCW)

Supporting the Registered Nursing staff in the delivery of personal care and assistance for patients at The Hospital of St Cross, Rugby & University Hospital Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to patients under the guidance of Registered Nursing staff.
• Work flexibly across a range of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

Requirements

• Health and social care qualification BTEC Level 2 or above, or experience in a person‑centred and public‑facing role.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills with a caring and compassionate nature.
• Desire to help others and drive to develop a rewarding career.
• Must provide an immunisation and vaccination report from a UK occupational health provider or GP.
• Positions are for substantive staff only; bank positions are not being recruited.
