We’re looking for kind, reliable people who want to make a difference. No previous retail experience is needed, as full training will be provided. Just bring your smile and willingness to help!

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting customers with a friendly smile and making them feel welcome
• Helping people find what they’re looking for and answering any questions
• Keeping the shop tidy, organised and inviting
• Serving customers on the till and handling cash/card payments
• Encouraging Gift Aid when donations are dropped off
• Supporting your team and helping create a fun, friendly atmosphere

Important information

• Minimum age for volunteering in our shops is 16.
• You must be living in the UK to volunteer in one of our shops.
• We ask all applicants to disclose any unspent criminal convictions in confidence, in advance of a DBS check.
• All volunteers are required to wear a uniform, which will be provided free of charge.
• This is an unpaid volunteer position in a charity shop.
