Teaching Assistants – St Damian’s

Hours: 32½ hours each week, term time Monday to Friday.

• Work under the guidance of the SENDCO, teachers and senior staff.
• Raise learning and attainment of pupils, promote independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion.
• Provide assistance to pupils to access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience achievement.
• Work in classroom and outside the main teaching area.
• Previous relevant experience desirable but not essential.
