Occupational Therapist (Maternity Cover)
As an Occupational Therapist, you will join the supportive team at Bromley Road in London, a rehabilitation service for men and women with enduring mental health issues. This is a 6‑month fixed‑term maternity cover role where you will manage a caseload, complete assessments, plan therapeutic sessions, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes aligned to service‑user care plans.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate a flexible programme of OT groups and individual interventions.
- Plan and implement interventions and therapeutic activities.
- Evaluate outcomes aligned to care plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Qualifications
- Current HPC registration and full BOAT membership with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Knowledge and use of a range of OT assessments and outcome measures.
- Experience of working within a similar setting.
- BSc (Hons) or equivalent occupational therapy qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist.
