Benefits
£26-28k basic salary plus 20-40% commission. Year 1 £45-55k with top performers surpassing £60k. Merit-based progression – promotions are earned, not waited for. Qualifications
You are competitive, maybe you captained a sports team, worked through uni, ran a side hustle, or consistently outperformed. You’re a confident communicator, have a 2:1 or above, and you’re motivated by results. This isn’t a 9–5 where effort goes unnoticed. Your work directly impacts your earnings and your trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Business development – pick up the phone, build relationships with hiring managers, and win new clients.
- Sourcing candidates – headhunting, job boards, LinkedIn, referrals – whatever it takes to find the right people for the roles.
- Matching and managing – screen CVs, prep candidates for interviews, negotiate offers, and make sure deals get across the line.
- Building your desk – develop your own client base and candidate network. The better you build it, the more it pays you back.
It’s fast-paced, target-driven, and yes, some days are tough. But when you make a placement, you see the result directly in your commission. There’s no hiding, but there’s also no ceiling.
