We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Laurus Ryecroft. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you’re considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for acting as keyworker for students with SEND to support their progress throughout school. This position is open to male applicants only.
Responsibilities
- Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations.
- Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion.
- Support the progress of students with SEND as keyworker.
Qualifications
- Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A‑C) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
