Principal Product Designer

We are hiring an experienced Principal Product Designer for our Workspace Product Design team based in London.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and define the structural design of complex applications.
• Lead product discovery to delivery, following best practice design methodologies.
• Create, refine and improve existing UI designs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Business teams across LSEG to bring the product strategy to life.
• Work with Design Researchers, Service Designers, Content Designers and Design System specialists.
• Ensure deliverables align with our design system and help evolve it.
• Collaborate closely with Engineers during solution build‑out.
• Communicate design rationale and progress to peers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant hands‑on experience in a Product Design role for complex products/domains, preferably in trading platforms.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Human‑Computer Interaction or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Track record of driving innovative, high‑value experiences for designers and customers/users.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale design systems.
• Proven success in improving the user experience across highly complex enterprise problems.
• Portfolio demonstrating expert knowledge and applied experience in complex domain product design.
