Joinery CAD Designer / Draughtsperson

An established bespoke joinery and interior fit‑out manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced CAD Designer to join their growing team. Working on high‑end commercial, hospitality, retail and bespoke joinery projects, you’ll play a key role in taking concepts through to manufacture.

Location: Leeds Area. Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE.

Role

• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create technical joinery details, construction drawings and material schedules.
• Liaise with project managers, clients and the workshop to ensure designs are practical and cost‑effective.
• Amend and develop drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support projects from initial design through to production.

Requirements

• Previous experience within bespoke joinery, furniture manufacturing or interior fit‑out.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural and design drawings.
• Good understanding of joinery manufacturing methods and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
