IG Area | Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Outer London)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in East London for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving performing arts department.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical expression
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school performances
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
