The position is part-time, 15 contracted hours, with full flexibility from Monday to Sunday.
Salary: Starting rate £13.52 per hour, increasing to £14.21 upon completion of full training (includes London Weighting Allowance).
Location: West Croydon.
Opportunity to earn up to £2,000 extra each year in discretionary bonuses, pro‑rated and based on performance against key KPIs.
About The Role
As a Store Colleague, you will be the face of our business, providing a warm welcome and expert support to every customer. You will understand customer needs, offer tailored solutions, and ensure they leave with the best possible outcome. No prior experience in pawnbroking is required; a genuine interest in people, a strong sense of integrity, and a willingness to learn are essential. Full training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional approach.
- Assist customers with a range of services including pawnbroking, retail sales, and financial products.
- Maintain high standards of compliance and store presentation.
- Work collaboratively with your team to exceed targets.
- Handle transactions accurately and securely.
- Multilingual skills are a bonus – due to the diversity of our customer base, the ability to speak additional languages is highly valued, though not required.
