We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s innovative team working at the forefront of aerospace and defence technology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge engineering projects within a highly regulated, fast-paced and technically challenging environment, where your work will directly support complex mechanical systems and mechanisms.

We are looking for someone who has;

• Experience working in highly regulated industries, ideally aerospace or space
• Strong understanding of structural and/or thermal analysis and FE modelling
• Proficiency in CAD for mechanical design and analysis tools for structural, thermal or mathematical modelling
• Familiarity with mechanisms such as gears, motors or actuation systems
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing and system build/assembly
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
