Critical purpose of role: to work as part of a two-person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard, maintain fleet compliance and health and safety standards, and adhere to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations.
Responsibilities
- Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety.
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported.
- Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each visit.
- Take full responsibility for operating company vehicles and equipment safely.
- Ensure Van Delivery Porters proactively make customer phone calls with ETA’s and keep records of deliveries.
- Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free.

Qualifications
- More than 1-year experience in HGV driving
- Hold a valid C+E UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Have an up to date Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
