Site Operative

We are recruiting an experienced Site Operative for our East Midlands Region, based at Grantham, Lincolnshire. In this role you’ll support the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager, maintain construction standards, assist trades with general labour duties, and ensure site cleanliness and safety.

Main Duties

• Monitor stock levels and report low stock to the Site Manager/Assistant Site Manager.
• Maintain satisfactory cleanup of the site, including welfare and compound areas.
• Provide first‑aid support on site when required.
• Assist with health & safety measures such as pedestrian routes, perimeter fencing, fall protection systems and site shut‑down procedures.
• Attend meetings related to duties.
• Comply with and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional tasks as reasonably required from time to time.

Essential Skills / Attributes

• Previous experience as a Site Operative on a busy construction site.
• Effective communication and good time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive, enthusiastic work ethic.
