Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Sales Advisor to provide fast, friendly service to customers, contribute to sales targets, and support smooth store operations.
Responsibilities
- Sales
- Greet and serve all customers with a fast, friendly service.
- Provide detailed product information and demonstrate knowledge of all Swatch products.
- Offer reliable information regarding guarantee and after-sales service.
- Help display merchandise as directed.
- Contribute to meeting the store’s monthly sales targets.
- Oversee colleagues on the shop floor, ensuring best practices are followed and providing on‑the‑spot feedback.
- Security
- Control shrinkage through attentive shop floor action, proper merchandise handling, accident prevention, and careful till operation.
- Maintain awareness of products and security hot spots.
- Follow company policy and procedures for opening and closing the store.
- Handle all transactions responsibly and securely.
- Reporting
- Accurately report all administration and stock control activities.
- Collate sales figures.
- Communicate any store issues to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager when absent.
- Store Maintenance
- Keep the store clean and presentable at all times.
- Delegate tasks to colleagues during peak trade to ensure productivity.
- Communication
- Adhere to company policies and regulations.
- Attend briefing sessions as directed by the line manager.
- Hold briefing sessions in the absence of higher‑level management.
- Communicate confidently at all levels and maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues.
- Be familiar with international customers’ customs and culture.
- Product Knowledge
- Attend regular training programmes.
- Deliver product knowledge confidently and train colleagues on upcoming collections.
- Take responsibility for understanding new products and applying training.
- Provide clear product knowledge to customers.
- Additional Duties
- Undertake responsibilities within the scope of the position under line manager direction.
- Act in a senior capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is absent.
- Assist the store management team to lead and inspire colleagues.
- Ensure service standards align with training and Swatch guidelines at all times.
