Location: Stoke‑on‑Trent (ST4) | Full Time, On‑Site

Compensation: Up to £44,000 per annum

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30

Pertemps Stoke are working with a client to find a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic who thrives in a busy environment, and can think independently on tasks and priorities.

The HGV Mechanic vacancy is Full time on site, ST4 in Stoke‑on‑Trent, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Running the diagnostics of faults within HGV’s and analysing where possible
• Preventative and routing maintenance across all vehicles
• MOT preparation, presentation, and servicing
• General repairs and fixing any faults
• Working on a variety of makes and models, predominantly 18 tonnes and over

A can‑do attitude is a must, with the ability to work well as part of a team, and happy to support colleagues where required.

Full on‑the‑job training for the role of HGV Mechanic will be provided. PPE will be provided.

• Willing to learn and adapt well under pressure
• Positive and can‑do attitude willing to go above and beyond
• HGV licence advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers
