Working Hours: 37 hours per week – required between 6am and 8pm Monday to Friday

Salary: Grade G – starting salary of £36,363 (level 1), rising to £39,152 (level 4) per annum

About The Role
As an experienced Plumber you will contribute to the provision of good quality rented housing, achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction, improving landlord‑tenant relationships and protecting health and safety.
You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of plumbing works, including installation and maintenance of personal hygiene and sanitation installations such as wash basin, showers, baths, sinks, toilets, foul drainage, drains, waste pipes, rainwater goods, inlet gulleys, and inspection chambers, as well as other plumbing works including drainage, heating (non‑gas) or sanitary items, including adaptations for disability, where it is the responsibility of NCC Housing Services.
We will also look to you to use elements of the skills of other general trades to meet the target of first‑time fix where it is efficient and appropriate.
About You
- Experience of working in all aspects of plumbing works
- Qualified, certified and trained to NVQ3 or C&G Advance Craft
- Full and valid driving licence
- Experience of communicating with customers with differing needs
- Experience of carrying out investigations and tests to identify faults and root causes, and implementing lasting solutions
- A well‑organised and methodical approach to completing tasks with strong prioritisation skills
