Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance work and carry out regular safety and maintenance inspections across the hotel to create a pleasant and safe environment for all colleagues, guests and visitors.
• Ideally have a good understanding of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical and building works.
• To be able to solve defects on a daily basis.
• To be able to deal with contractors and maintain paperwork including HS, FS, PPMs, risk assessments etc.
• Take part in hotel projects to improve FF&E, quality, efficiency and sustainability.
• Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action.

Qualifications

• Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Flexible and available in emergency situations.
