A permanent, school-based History Teacher role starting September 2026 in Enfield. This is not a supply or short-term position. There are potential TLR opportunities for experienced History Teachers.

Location: Enfield | School size: around 1000 students | Great facilities, strong SLT, and opportunities for career progression and CPD.

Responsibilities

• History Teacher
• Inspiring and motivating students
• Working with a team of teachers and the Head of Department
• September 2026 – Full time & permanent contract
• Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 + TLRs (dependent on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Enfield

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academic record: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meets the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ level
• Strong History subject knowledge with a proactive attitude
• Willingness to listen to feedback
