Hours: 40 hours a week (Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30)
Overview
We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Delivery Driver to support the busy team at our branch in Derby.
There is no such thing as a typical day; your responsibilities as our Delivery Driver will include:
- Starting the day at our branch in West Thurrock, loading the company van with various deliveries and preparing the delivery notes.
- Using local knowledge to complete timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the East Midlands area.
- Playing a key part in keeping delivery operations running smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone with excellent driving experience, communication, and customer service skills. A full UK driving licence is required as our vans are manual.
What Will Help You Stand Out
- Full UK driving licence (our Hayley Dexis branded delivery vans are manual)
- Previous experience in a delivery driver role
- Good knowledge of the local geographical area
- Keen eye for health & safety awareness
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry
- Excellent communication skills
