Civil Engineering Consultant

Youll help deliver key substation projects across the UK, working with big names like National Grid and SSE. Youll be hands-on with planning, design, and construction, helping keep things on track and up to standard. RC foundations, drainage, ducting, earthworks, roads, fencing Support site and project managers in meeting key design and build milestones Review and advise on Temporary Works; assist TWC/TWS throughout project lifecycle Prepare handover documents, H&S files, and inspection plans Resolve on-site design issues and manage change control (TQs/RFIs) Coordinate as-built drawings and ensure timely client submission Attend design/coordination meetings and support tender planning What youll bring 3 years experience in surveying/setting out Civil Engineering degree or equivalent Experience in electrical transmission/distribution preferred CSCS card and full UK driving licence required Familiar with NG Transmission Procedures and BS5975 Temporary Works Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confident with Microsoft Office, databases, and CAD Good understanding of technical specifications and supplier requirements Whats in it for you?
