About The Role
Level: 3
Department: HR
Location: Southampton, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent
As a Reward Analyst you will focus on the data and analytics required to support all aspects of the annual compensation processes at Quilter. One of our most important processes is the Group’s annual salary and incentive cycle in Q1 each year, which requires a raft of activities across the team that you will play a key role in.
The emphasis will be on all data elements that form part of our compensation cycle, including the completion and analysis of market data compensation surveys, maintenance of incentive accrual files for Finance, evolution of reward‑built employee job matching and benchmarking databases, development and testing of the year‑end compensation tool (PayScale), and upkeep of other reward systems and trackers as required. You will also support the peer‑to‑peer employee recognition platform (Thank Q) by maintaining the platform, running engagement campaigns with Internal Communications, and producing quarterly reporting on the platform’s use and effectiveness.
This role will support preparation and analysis of various annual regulatory disclosures that Quilter is required to make, such as gender and ethnicity pay‑gap calculations and Real Living Wage monitoring, and more.
You will partner with the wider HR function and the business where appropriate, offering technical reward guidance and advisory services. Tasks may include composing salary and incentive package recommendations for new hires and internal moves/promotions, ensuring proposals align with diversity and inclusion principles and equal‑pay regulations, preparing employee redundancy and exit schedules, advising on reward governance and controls, providing market trend insights, conducting employee reward cost analysis, and other advisory tasks.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to project work supporting the strategic priorities of HR, Finance and the broader business. The role involves the use of artificial intelligence (Copilot) where applicable to improve our proposition and increase productivity within the team.
About You
- Relevant experience in a similar Reward role is essential, ideally having supported 2–3 compensation cycles.

- Demonstrable experience working with data and high proficiency with MS Office, in particular Microsoft Excel, is essential; knowledge of Workday HCM and/or Curo Compensation (PayScale) would be beneficial.
- High numeracy and an analytical mindset, comfortable handling large data sets within a financial services or related context.
- Experience using Copilot or other AI solutions to create efficiencies is beneficial.
Inclusion & Diversity
We value diversity and strive to promote inclusivity in all aspects of our culture. We believe in equal opportunities for all, ensuring that no applicant encounters less favourable treatment based on anything but their skills, qualifications, experience, and potential. We celebrate the unique contributions of a diverse workforce and create a respectful, nurturing environment where every colleague can thrive.
