Role Overview

As a Healthcare Assistant on the Ward, you will support colleagues and help deliver high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Put patient care first.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Build relationships with patients to understand their needs.
• Meet the needs of every individual.
• Use organisational skills to make a positive impact.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a healthcare setting.
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Good telephone manner.
• Strong computer and database skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions.

Working Arrangements

Bank shift – you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
