Job Overview

Science Teacher – Liverpool (Immediate start). Responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 students and implementing the school’s science schemes of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
• Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Support students with varied needs, including intervention with smaller groups.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and help students achieve excellent results.
• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and contribute to staff development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science (or Science specialism).
• Experience teaching science to students up to Key Stage 3.
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 3 (preferred).
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Committed to working in an inclusive and diverse school environment.
