Maintenance Engineer

What you’ll be doing
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site.
- Make informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities.
- Provide support and guidance to fellow team members.
- Respond promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions.
- Participate in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- A time-served Engineering apprenticeship.
- Significant mechanical experience.
- Understanding of industrial processes and steam systems.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment.
- A full valid UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks.
- Flexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required.
