Overview
This is a superb opportunity for a dedicated and flexible person to join Beechcroft St Paul’s Primary School, part of the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Family Liaison Officer (Safeguarding and Family Support) on a fixed‑term basis until 31st December 2027.
Working Hours and Schedule
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (with an unpaid half‑hour lunch break). 43 weeks per year, including term time, Inset Days and four weeks during the holidays. Holiday working pattern will be agreed with the Headteacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the existing Family Liaison and Attendance Officer to provide holistic support for pupils and families.
- Focus on day‑to‑day operational safeguarding, early intervention, pastoral support, and family engagement.
- Investigate concerns raised by parents, pupils and staff, keeping the child’s needs and voice at the forefront.
- Act as one of the school’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead to implement safeguarding procedures and provide appropriate support to vulnerable children and families.
- Manage preventative and early‑intervention activities, offering support, information, and guidance to children and families attending the school.
