A caring and reliable Personal Assistant / Carer is required to support with daily living tasks for a sight‑impaired individual. Previous experience supporting someone with visual impairment is preferred but not essential, as the right attitude, patience, and willingness to provide compassionate support are equally important. Hours:

• 32 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Preferred hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm, however some flexibility is required to accommodate appointments
• Hours may be split between two Personal Assistants
• Pay rate £12.85 for employed or £15.94 self‑employed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support with general domestic tasks
• Light cleaning and household upkeep
• Taking recycling and rubbish out
• Assistance with admin and paperwork
• Support to access the community
• Accompanying to hospital and GP appointments
• Meal preparation
• Domestic care
• Social + leisure activities
• Support to remain independent

Essential Requirements

• Car driver essential
• DBS check required, or willingness to complete one
• Must be comfortable working in an environment where the client smokes outside
