We’re excited to be partnering with a well-established entertainment business on the search for a Management Accountant to join its finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to build on their existing experience within a commercially focused environment, taking ownership of month-end processes, reconciliations and reporting while working closely with key stakeholders across the business.
About the Role
As part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the monthly accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls across the business.
Alongside core accounting responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives, helping to drive efficiencies across the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-end accounting and reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Revenue and cost reconciliations
- Financial analysis and reporting support
- Audit preparation and support
- Reviewing financial transactions and maintaining data accuracy
- Supporting process improvement and automation initiatives
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
The Ideal Candidate
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified
- Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting experience
- Strong IT & Excel skills
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or Financial Accountant role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience working within entertainment, events, hospitality, leisure or other fast-paced commercial sectors
- Experience working in a multi-site environment
- Good knowledge of accounting and ERP Systems
- Previous experience supporting month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience supporting external audits and financial controls
