Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Hull

Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client, a leading national Facilities Management provider, is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their established team covering a portfolio of commercial properties across Hull and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial gas systems across a varied portfolio, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Service, fault-find, and repair commercial gas appliances and associated plant.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on heating and hot water systems.
  • Complete all relevant compliance documentation and service reports.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1).
  • Current ACS certifications including relevant commercial modules.
  • Previous experience within Facilities Management or building services maintenance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
