Role Overview

Our highly rated Property Litigation team is looking for an Associate (NQ) to join our Specialist Real Estate offering. The role can be based from either our Bristol or Exeter office and will support the team in delivering a first-class service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality legal advice to clients across a complete spectrum of real property related issues, including disputes over property rights, options and overage agreements, and landlord and tenant work, including business lease renewal and opposition to renewal, rent recovery, service changes, dilapidations, residential tenancy possession claims and many other subject areas.
  • Representing clients in court action, the property tribunals, arbitrations, expert determinations and mediations.
  • Managing your own caseload under the supervision of senior solicitors and partners.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across different practice areas to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court submissions.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, building trust and credibility.
  • Participating in business development activities and contributing to the firm’s growth.

Team

The team operates across the South West, carrying out international, national and regional contentious property work. It works closely with the Transactional Real Estate team and other teams.
