Overview
Hospital Support Assistant – Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. Closing date: 17 June 2026.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our busy, fast‑paced hospital environment. The role supports the cleanliness of department areas, covering 14 hours per week (4‑8 pm) throughout the year, including weekends, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year. A compulsory 4‑week initial training period is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for all cleaning and catering duties within the hospital.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in line with the Trust’s standards and legislation.
- Work directly with team members, patients and visitors to deliver a safe and effective service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: GCSE Maths and English Level 2.
- Desirable: Previous experience of cleaning or catering within the NHS; food handling experience; basic food hygiene knowledge.
- Occupational Experience – Essential: General experience of cleaning or catering duties.
- Occupational Experience – Desirable: Experience of an NHS environment or care setting; experience working with customers; cleaning and catering experience.
