Job Description:

Role Purpose

As an FP&A Senior Analyst you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate financial information, including P&L and KPI reporting across the Moneycorp Group to monitor performance, support decision‑making and insight creation for the business.

Key activities include daily revenue reporting, monthly variance analysis, forecasting, medium‑term planning and executive reporting within the Group function. You will also drive system automation and change improvements across our reporting suite, including the Vena reporting system.

Role Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Assist the wider Group during budgeting process, supporting business units with completion of templates, review and maintenance of medium‑term planning (MTP) reporting capabilities in Vena with data completeness and accuracy.
  • Work with the business to prepare regular financial forecasts of both the P&L and balance sheet.

Reporting

  • Support daily reporting of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Group revenue.
  • Prepare financial reports including monthly board reports and business KPI reporting, with commentary on trend analysis.
  • Manage reporting functionality and develop tailored reports to meet different stakeholder needs in both Vena and Tableau.

Business Partnering and Strategic Analysis

  • Analyze and monitor key operational metrics, including KPI reporting across the Group through Tableau analytics.
  • Assist regional and support business units with reporting and analysis of operational performance, with a focus on supporting the Corporate & Private businesses.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support deep dives into performance, e.g. cost analysis, client profitability.

Systems

  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness within FP&A reporting systems, including data loads from underlying source systems and back‑end infrastructure.
  • Maintain Vena inventory of reporting suite, making updates in line with business needs.
  • Act as key point of contact in the team to support wider‑finance and the business with reporting in Vena and Tableau.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other members in the Group FP&A team to ensure workload is balanced and continued growth is supported across the team.
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with business unit heads to ensure business units are supported with timely, relevant and accurate financial information.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in Business Performance Management and/or Financial Planning and Analysis in a large organisation, ideally in Financial Services.
  • Good understanding of financial data, data controls and how to process large datasets.
  • Reliability in running critical processes and a keen focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise presentations for executive and external stakeholders with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau or Power BI for data extraction, analysis and visualisation.
  • Detail‑oriented with curiosity to learn and develop.
  • Strong time management, able to manage deadlines effectively while communicating clearly with stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Comfortable constructively challenging ideas and contributing to continuous improvement.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Vena system (an advantage but not essential).
  • Experience supporting system improvements, automation or reporting transformation initiatives.
  • Financial services experience (beneficial but not essential).

Education / Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ideally CIMA or ACA).
