Job summary

Project Solver is currently looking someone like you to work as a PAT Tester to join our expanding team of highly trained and highly professional members. No experience required; full training will be provided.

Portable Appliance Tester – Job requirements

• Carry out visual inspections of appliances.
• Carry out electrical testing to ensure that each item is safe to use.
• Carry out fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary
• Microwave Emission Testing
• Complete and submit paperwork as agreed
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with health and safety requirements
• You will be paid at a test rate per appliance
• Working away is required with this role, some out of hours which would be nights and the occasional weekend.

Portable Appliance Tester – Requirements

• Desirable City & Guilds 2377 (but inhouse training will be provided if necessary)
• Basic electrical knowledge an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Current Driving Licence and must have own transport
• A professional approach
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
